Network Structure

Associate members are individuals, organizations and/ or associations who share our ideals. They will receive our Newsletter and periodic updates. There is no age limit to become an associated member.

Active members are interested in joining the campaign and its objectives and are willing to take initiatives. They are young people (12-29) who really want to engage themselves in at least one project or action in the frame of the Campaign. Receive a Newsletter, participate in online discussions and have access to other services and activities.

Focal Points are active members who have been selected to promote the Campaign at a national level. They are very committed to the campaign in terms of time and effort; are interested in the work of young people to build peace in their region; share the objectives and spirit of the GYOPEN; have a broad knowledge of their country; have access (even if limited) to the Internet and computer facilities. Their responsibilities include: Distributing information, coordinating activities at the local level, and establishing a local network of organizations and individuals working in the Campaign.

The Regional Campaign Coordinator is based in the GYOPEN Secretariat. The Campaign coordination involves encouraging and supporting actions by providing project guidelines, giving feedback, writing newsletters, collecting and editing information for updating the website and members database, facilitating communication and networking by sharing key information.
